Welcome to Monroeville Elementary School’s website. Monroeville Elementary School is located just a couple of blocks from downtown Monroeville, Alabama. We are proud to be the home of the literary greats Harper Lee and Truman Capote.  Monroeville Elementary School provides an outstanding educational experience for approximately 420 students in Pre–Kindergarten through 4th Grade. Our certified staff of 46 educators works collaboratively with 21 support personnel to meet the needs of our students. We are proud to be an AMSTI and ARI school and to provide a First Class Pre-K program aligned to the standards set forth by the Office of School Readiness. The faculty and staff members at Monroeville Elementary School are dedicated to teaching the whole child and to helping our students to develop a true love of learning.  At Monroeville Elementary School our motto is "Together we learn, live, and LEAD!"
