Welcome to the Monroeville Elementary School website. I hope your visit to our website is beneficial and I truly hope you consider a visit to our school soon. We are a fully accredited Pre-K-fourth grade school and are dedicated to helping our students succeed.

Our motto at MES is "Together we learn, live, and LEAD!"  Helping children to become life-long learners is a job we take very seriously. MES is an Alabama Reading First Initiative School and an Alabama Reading Initiative (ARI) School. The faculty and staff members work diligently to provide rigorous and challenging academics, while tailoring our instruction to the individual learning styles of the students. 

MES has a very active Parent/Teacher Organization (PTO). We invite all parents/guardians to join in the fun by becoming actively involved in school events and fundraisers. Parent involvement is an important part of any school's success and we would not be as successful as we are at MES without these wonderful volunteers. The 2023-2024 PTO President is Alicia Rudolph and President-Elect is Melena Nicholas. The dedicated PTO volunteers work diligently to make our school the very best and would like to invite everyone to become active PTO members.
